Moulds are used to protect goods from movement during
transit. They can be made from polystyrene or foam depending on
the use. If energy absorption is required, a foam material would
be recommended. However if location and support in an outer
carton or case is required then polystyrene offers a very good
cost effective packing method. For more information about
materials follow the link above.
All our moulds are fabricated by cutting then welding/gluing,
die cutting or CNC routing rather than injection moulded
which means that we are able to produce a final product without
expensive tool costs. This reduces the initial set up charges
allowing us to produce smaller quantities more economically, but
still enables us to produce high volumes when required.
In this way the highest quality of packaging is produced, giving
both immense transit durability and very low production costs. |
